Who I am

I'm Phoenix Tanner, a registered craniosacral therapist working in London at Waterloo and Bethnal Green. I'm responsible for your personal information (the "data controller"). You can contact me at phoenix@tanner.me, or on WhatsApp or phone at +44 7501 827069.

What I collect, and why

• Enquiries and bookings. Your name, email, phone number, the clinic and time you choose, and anything you tell me when you get in touch by email, WhatsApp, phone or the booking page. I use it to arrange and run your sessions.
• Client records, including health information. If you become a client I ask for an intake form (for example date of birth, occupation, GP, medication, health conditions and an emergency contact) and I write session notes. This is sensitive information. I collect it with your consent, only to give you safe and appropriate care, and I keep it confidential. I never use it for advertising.
• Payments. Payment references and amounts, so I can keep accounts and give you receipts.
• Reminders and confirmations. Emails and calendar invitations about your appointments.
• Newsletter. Your email address, if you subscribe. Unsubscribe any time and I'll stop.
• Website analytics and ad measurement, only if you accept cookies. If you click Accept on the cookie banner, Google Analytics records how the site is used (pages visited, clicks on booking, WhatsApp and phone links), and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel records visits and confirmed bookings, so I can tell whether my Instagram and Facebook ads reach people who book. If you click Decline, neither is loaded.

Who I share it with

I don't sell your data. I use a small number of services to run my practice, and they handle data on my behalf: Google (email, calendar, documents and, with your consent, Analytics), Meta (only with your consent, for ad measurement), and the companies that host this website and my booking system and its database. I only share information otherwise if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Some of these services are based outside the UK. Where that's the case, they rely on approved safeguards for transferring data.

How long I keep it

I keep client records for as long as professional and insurance guidance requires, then delete them securely. Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted after a reasonable period. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

This site only sets analytics and advertising-measurement cookies after you accept them. Your choice is remembered in your browser. To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how I use it, or receive a copy you can take elsewhere. If I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact me using the details above and I'll respond within a month.

If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes

If I change this policy I'll update the date at the top of this page.
